BRANCH POSTMASTER (BPM):
Marketing and promotions of products and services being provided by the Department and operating various services in the customer service centers (CSC) of the Department etc.
In the single-handed BOs, BPMs have the overall responsibility of
smooth and timely functioning of the Office, including mail conveyance and mail delivery.
ASSISTANT BRANCH POSTMASTER (ABPM):
Sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, exchange the mail with the accounting office etc. deposit/payments/other transactions of IPPB.
To assist BPM in postal operations in a manner as prescribed by the
Department from time to time.
Dak Sevak :
Sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail at doorstep, deposits/payments/other transactions of IPPB, and any other duties assigned by Postmaster/Sub Postmaster.
Dak Sevaks may have to work in sorting offices of the Railway Mail Service (RMS).

Vacancies Details:

- These appointments are made based on the marks obtained in class 10th.
- The candidate's age should be between 18-40 years.
- Maximum age relaxation is 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBCs, and 10 years for disabled persons.
