Thousands of Grameen Dak Sevaks (GDS) in various postal circles nationwide. The stage is set for issuing advertisements to fill up the vacancies. While the notification for this year is already to be issued, the appointment process has been broken in the background of the general elections.
Vacancies Details:
The notification will be released very soon after the new government has taken office. The notification for 40,000 vacancies was released in January last year.
Educational Qualification:
These appointments are made based on the marks obtained in class 10th.
Age Limit:
The candidate's age should be between 18-40 years. Maximum age relaxation is 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBCs, and 10 years for disabled persons.
Name of the Posts:
The selected candidates will have to perform the duties of
Branch Post Master (BPM),
Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) and Dak Sevak.
Salary Details:
Depending on the post, Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. A starting salary of
Rs. 12,000/- can be received.
Candidates for these posts should work for four hours a day. Apart from these, the BPM / ABPM / DAC sevaks are given special incentives for services related to the Indian Postal Payment Bank. Interested candidates should apply online.
