Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the Group C posts viz. Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/Tribunals, etc.

1. Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretarial Assistant (JSA)
2. Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ Data Entry Operator, Grade-A
Educational Qualifications:
- 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- Candidates who have passed Inter by 01-08-2024 can also apply. For data entry posts in Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ministry, Culture Ministry, Maths with Science group as a subject is mandatory.
Age Limit: 18-27 years as of 01-08-2024
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- 01-08-2024 35 should be between 18-27 18.
- 5 years for SC and ST
- Maximum age relaxation is 3 years for OBCs and 10-15 years depending on the category for PwDs.
Salary (Pay Scale):
- Per month for LDC/JSA posts Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900- 63,200)
- DEO- Pay Level-4 (Rs.25,500-81,100) and Level-5 (Rs.29,200-92,300)
- DEO, Grade 'A'- Pay Level-4 (Rs.25,500- 81,100).
Application Fee:
- Rs.100 (SC/ST/PwBD/ ESM/ Women candidates eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee).
Scheme of Examination:
- Based on Tier-I, Tier-II Exams, Skill Test/ Typing Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination.
Selection Process:
Tier-1 and Tier-2 exams will be conducted. In these two stages, Candidates selected based on marks will be conducted a computer test or typing test in the third stage depending on the post applied for. Qualifying in this is enough.
Selection for jobs will be done after the examination of certificates and medical examinations.
