Eligibility:
డిప్లొమా లేదా ఇంజినీరింగ్ ప్రథమ సంవత్సరం, అలాగే లేటరల్ ఎంట్రీలో డిప్లొమా లేదా ఇంజినీరింగ్ ద్వితీయ సంవత్సరం కోర్సుల్లో చేరినవారు ఏఐసీటీఈ అందించే ప్రగతి స్కాలర్ షిప్పులకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు.
డిప్లొమా స్థాయిలో 5000 మందికి, డిగ్రీ 5000 (ఇంజినీరింగ్)లో మందికి వీటిని అందిస్తారు. ఎంపికైతే ఏడాదికి రూ. యాభై వేలు చొప్పున డిప్లొమా వాళ్లకు మూడేళ్లు, ఇంజినీరింగ్ చెల్లిస్తారు. లేటరల్ ఎంట్రీలో చేరినవారికి డిప్లొమా చదువుతున్నవారికైతే నాలుగేళ్లు అయితే రెండేళ్లు, ఇంజినీరింగ్ అయితే మూడేళ్లపాటు ఇవి అందుతాయి.

Selection Process:
డిప్లొమా అభ్యర్థులైతే పదో తరగతిలో సాధించిన మార్కుల మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా వీటికి ఎంపిక చేస్తారు. పదో తరగతికి డిప్లొమాలో చేరడానికి మధ్య రెండేళ్ల కంటే ఎక్కువ వ్యవధి ఉండరాదు. ఇంజినీరింగ్లో చేరినవారైతే ఇంటర్లో సాధించిన మార్కులను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుని స్కాలర్షిప్పులు కేటాయిస్తారు.

దేశవ్యాప్తంగా అందించే ఈ స్కాలర్షిప్పులకు రాష్ట్రాలవారీ కోటా విధించారు. దీని ప్రకారం ఇంజినీరింగ్ విభాగంలో ఏపీ నుంచి 566 మందికి, తెలంగాణ నుంచి 424 మందికి ఇవి దక్కుతాయి. ఏపీలో డిప్లొమా చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థినుల్లో 318 మందికి, తెలంగాణలో 206 మందికి వీటిని అందిస్తారు. అలాగే ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, ప్రభుత్వ నిబంధనల ఉంటాయి. మేరకు కేటాయింపులు
నిబంధనలు:
ఒక కుటుంబం నుంచి ఇద్దరు బాలికలు మాత్రమే ఈ స్కాలర్షిప్పులకు అర్హులు తల్లిదండ్రుల వార్షికాదాయం రూ.8 లక్షల కంటే తక్కువగా ఉండాలి.
ఏఐసీటీఈ గుర్తింపు పొందిన సంస్థల్లో డిప్లొమా లేదా బీటెక్ కోర్సులో చేరి ఉండాలి. అలాగే ప్రథమ సంవత్సరం లేదా లేటరల్ ఎంట్రీలో ద్వితీయ సంవత్సరంలో చేరినవాళ్లే స్కాలర్షిప్పులకు అర్హులు.
ఎంపికైనవారి బ్యాంకు ఖాతాలోకి నేరుగా ఏటా రూ. యాభై వేలను జమ చేస్తారు. దీన్ని ఫీజు, వసతి, పుస్తకాలు, కంప్యూటర్... తదితర ఖర్చుల కోసం వెచ్చించుకోవచ్చు. ముందు సంవత్సరాల చదువులో చూపిన ప్రతిభ ఆధారంగా తర్వాతి సంవత్సరాలకు వీటిని కొనసాగిస్తారు.
