Truecaller introduces AI based call recording feature for iOS and Android users

Delhi: Sweden-based caller identification app Truecaller has announced the launch of its artificial intelligence (AI)-based call recording feature in India. This is available only for those who have taken a Truecaller Premium subscription. It works on smartphones with Android and iOS operating systems.
- Due to the latest feature, incoming and outgoing calls can be recorded directly in the app. Above all, the company explained that without the need to note down the details of the call, the complete transcription (in the form of letters) will be provided in English and Hindi. Along with this, there is an AI-based call summary.
- Company MD Rishit Jhun Jhanwala stated that this feature will be available as part of the premium plan of Rs.75 per month or Rs.529 per year.
