The Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSSPDCL) with Headquarters in Hyderabad is carrying out electricity distribution business as part of the unbundling of erstwhile A.P.S.E.B & distribution business as part of Andhra Pradesh and formation of the state of Telangana is catering to the electricity requirements of districts in Telangana state Viz: Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthyl, Nagarkurnool, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Narayanpet, Nalgonda, Bhongir-Yadadri, Suryapeta, Medak, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Hyderabad Districts.

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized institution/BOARD as detailed below or equivalent thereto, as on the date of Notification.
- Must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE) or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE) or Graduation in Electrical Engineering in addition to a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Graduation in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Board/the University of State/Indian/UGC/DEC/AICTE as the cause may be.
Examination fee
Each applicant must pay Rs.200/- towards the online application processing fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay Rs.120/- towards the examination fee.
However, the applicants to EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) are exempted from payment of the examination fee.
Note: Applicants belonging to other States are not exempted from payments of Examination fees.
The fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Failure to pay the examination fee, and application fee wherever applicable will entail the total rejection of the application.
Examination Centers:
The written examination for recruitment of Sub-Engineer (Electrical will be held at different centers located in the GHMC (Hyderabad) area.
Required Documents and submitting the application form:
I. For scanning of Photograph with signature
II. Date of Birth Certificate (SSC)
III. School Study Certificates (From Class 1st to 7th)
IV. Diploma Certificates with marks
V. Permanent Community Certificate in original obtained from Govt. of Telangana State in respect of SC/ST & BC candidates clearly indicating the Sub-Caste and group.
VI. Candidates claiming to be belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) shall obtain a Certificate issued by the Tahsildar concerned as per G.O.Ms.No.244, General Administration (SER-D) Department, Dt.24-08-2021 and other guidelines/instructions issued by Govt.
VII. Certificate of Residence/Nativity (if not studied in school through Regular mode) (Proforma attached)
